“生命塔”位于麓湖生态城时光码头，我们的最初始的概念是希望建筑呈现一个向上生长的轻盈的形态。它主要由悬挂的屏幕和空中的平台组成。作为室外多媒体美术馆的同时也是观景平台，随着人们拾级而上，平台大小朝向变化，情绪也能随之波动。

The “Tower of Life” is located in the “Pier of Time” of Luxe lakes Eco-city, our initial concept is to hope the building should present a light form that grows upwards. It mainly consists of suspended screens and floated platforms. As an outdoor multimedia art museum, it will be also a viewing landscape platform, as people clime up the stairs, the size and orientation of the platform will change, emotions of human could also fluctuate accordingly.

在雨季湖水涨高，塔底部的步道和平台会没于水中，形成漂浮之感，同时为了面对不同情况的艺术或社群活动，塔正面的三块屏幕是可以绕着各自平台转动，“生命塔”未来不只是和艺术家合作数字媒体和视觉艺术，还会多元的使用场景，不限于舞蹈表演，音乐会演出，戏剧展演，产品发布，时装走秀等。

During the rainy season, when the lake level rises, the trail and platform at the bottom of the tower will be submerged, forming a sense of floating. In order to face different artistic or community activities, there could be three screens on the front of the tower rotating around its own platform. In the future, the “Tower of Life” will not only cooperate with artists in digital media and visual art, but also be used in a variety of scenarios, not limited to dance performances, concert performances, theater shows, product launches, fashion shows, etc.

当人们走过一段蜿蜒的步道，一座湾区的水上美术馆映入眼帘，好奇和感官的刺激驱使着人们接近或观察它。我们希望“生命塔”是一座人们有参与感的大众美术馆，它的出现能唤起人们对公共艺术的讨论，无论是常规息屏状态下作为景观塔，还是各种主题活动下，人们都能找到相应的乐趣。

As people walk along a winding trail, a floating art museum in the bay area comes into view. Curiosity and sensory stimulation will drive people approach or observe it. We hope that the “Tower of Life” could be a public art museum that people can participate in, and its appearance can arouse people’s discussion on public art. Whether it is used as a landscape tower in the normal off-screen state or in a variety of themed activities, people can find corresponding fun.

作为一座更像艺术装置的建筑，“生命塔”有几个不同的状态。当白天息屏的时候，它呈现的是一座半透明轻质漂浮于水上的景观塔，人们可以游走于塔上的不同平台，登高望远；当傍晚和晚上，它呈现艺术作品时，它是一座屏幕被解构，能与人们产生视觉互动的数字美术馆；当然它有一个隐藏模式，正面三块屏幕可以调节转动以应对更复杂的需求。

As a building more like an art installation, the “Tower of Life” has several different states. When the screen is turned off during the day, it presents a translucent and lightweight landscape tower floating on the water; when it shows works of art in the evening and at night, it is a digital art museum where the screen is deconstructed to create visual interaction with people; of course, it has a hidden mode, and the three front screens can be adjusted and rotated to meet more complex needs.
