“清风、薄雾、柳杉”，是鼓岭最负盛名的三大风光，商周时代便有人聚居于此。从1885年至新中国成立初期，鼓岭因其景色秀丽、气候宜人、吸引了众多在榕外国人士前来避暑胜地。此间，鼓岭在当地人和大批外来人员的共同开发建设下，孕育形成了中西交融、独具特色的鼓岭文化。本案所在地位于群山环绕，有薄雾从山间飘浮的鼓岭度假村。在大城市碎片化的绿色中生活许久，“荒野”以及它背后的自然似乎已经成为一个过去遥远的概念。对于纯粹质朴的生活，对自然的乡愁，业主和设计师都有着无垠的向往。所以，这一次就让我们寻回“荒野”的归属感。

植根于山林之上的建筑群，以呼应山景与自然为主，运用大体量的木质背景与夯土触觉的艺术漆，给予空间富有质感的底色。以构成方式穿插于空间的墙体，让视线像薄雾般越过缝隙，望向未知的背面。棉麻质地的沙发及带有岁月肌理感的家具，在提升舒适度的同时，营造出的寂静之感也氤氲着空间。
总要热爱些什么，比如飞雪、细雨、以及漫漫长冬的温存炉火。于是，空间便开放了起来，创造人与山林的对话，也将保证隐私性的同时弱化室内外空间，尝试创造一个舒适、自由且开阔的度假空间。

也许是木质的粗犷、是布艺色彩的碰撞、是艺术摆件的相遇，是时间流逝的肌理、去营造着这个充满岁月与粗糙感的温润空间。
