向往与初见
Yearning and first meeting

提及福州，“左海” 的别称里藏着千年底蕴，它是 “八闽雄都、神州名府” 的历史印记，是 “三山鼎峙、一水长流” 的青绿画卷，更是 “七溜八溜不离福州” 的故土深情。如今，在台江区闽江北 CBD 这片滨水核心之地，一处总建筑面积 11.5 万方、集城市公园与购物中心于一体的项目，正凭借两江四岸的地利优势，承载着成为福州新地标的期许。

When mentioning Fuzhou, the nickname “Left Sea” conceals millennia of cultural heritage. It bears the historical imprint of the “Mighty Capital of Fujian, Renowned Prefecture of China,” unfolds as a verdant landscape of “Three Mountains Standing Tall, One River Flowing Endlessly,” and embodies the deep-rooted affection for one’s homeland captured in the saying, “No matter how far you roam, you never stray far from Fuzhou.” Today, in the waterfront heartland of Taijiang District’s Minjiang North CBD, a project spanning 115,000 square meters—blending urban park and shopping center—is poised to become Fuzhou’s new landmark. Leveraging its prime location along the two rivers and four banks, it carries the promise of redefining the cityscape.

当城市发展呼唤更具吸引力的会客厅，当商业空间渴望突破平面界限以留住更多脚步，左海・光年 PARK 的出现恰逢其时。它以 TOD/POD 模式为核心，将地铁、公交、商业、公园与周边办公集群立体链接，构建多维度无缝衔接的城市活力枢纽。在这里，自然与城市的界限被打破，生态绿意与商业体验深度交融，“屋顶漫步、公园购物” 的独特场景即将落地，一个可玩、可逛、可体验的地标级商业综合体，一座与水共生的漂浮森林，一座多元立体的都市活力花园，正蓄势成为福州 Citywalk 的最佳目的地，开启城市生活的全新想象。

As urban development calls for more captivating gathering spaces and commercial venues seek to transcend flat boundaries to draw more foot traffic, Zuohai・Light-Year PARK emerges at just the right moment. Centered on the TOD/POD model, it seamlessly integrates subway, bus, retail, parks, and surrounding office clusters into a multidimensional urban hub brimming with vitality. Here, the boundaries between nature and the city dissolve as ecological greenery and commercial experiences deeply intertwine. The unique concept of “rooftop strolls and park shopping” is about to come to life. A landmark commercial complex where you can play, explore, and experience; a floating forest coexisting with water; a diverse, multi-dimensional urban vitality garden—all poised to become Fuzhou’s premier Citywalk destination, unlocking new horizons for urban living.

Creation and Experience 

山水榕城，境呈未来
Fuzhou: City of Mountains and Rivers 

福州被成为榕城，所谓“有福之州，榕树之邦”，而福州市树榕树苍劲古雅又生气勃勃，既古老又新生，体现福州的精神风貌，也深深刻在每一个福州人的心中。滨江市民广场以“榕树的成长阶段”为设计灵感，将榕树形态重新定义，提取福榕树枝、福榕树叶元素，带出榕城和山水城市的情怀。

Fuzhou is known as the City of Banyans, embodying the saying “A city of blessings, a land of banyans.” The banyan tree, designated as Fuzhou’s city tree, stands vigorous and elegant yet full of vitality—both ancient and reborn. It reflects the spirit of Fuzhou and is deeply ingrained in the hearts of every Fuzhou native. Inspired by the “growth stages of the banyan tree,” the Riverside Civic Plaza reimagines the banyan’s form. It incorporates elements of the Fuzhou banyan’s branches and leaves, evoking the city’s identity as the “City of Banyans” and its landscape as a city of mountains and rivers.

总体空间布局
Overall Spatial Layout

依托本底区位优势和周边配套优势，景观设计将构建“一轴两带多节点”的景观空间布局，引领推动闽江北CBD区域协调联动发展。“一轴”：延展南北主入口及下沉广场的中央活动展示轴；“两带”：契合周边用地业态，形成的活力运动带和休闲艺术带；“多节点”：花园餐厅、动力矩阵等功能活动区，满足各年龄层的多样化需求。

Relying on the advantages of its location and surrounding supporting facilities, the landscape design will construct a landscape space layout of “one axis, two belts and multiple nodes” to lead and promote the coordinated and interconnected development of the Minjiang North CBD area. “One axis”: the central activity display axis extending from the north-south main entrances and the sunken square; “two belts”: a vibrant sports belt and a leisure art belt formed in line with the surrounding land use formats; “multiple nodes”: functional activity areas such as garden restaurants and power matrices to meet the diverse needs of all age groups.

同时利用主题雕塑将上层的公园与下层的购物广场联动起来，突出福州城市符号的特性以简洁、轻巧和超现代的手法重新定义榕树形态, 融入场地空间塑造。

At the same time, the theme sculpture is used to connect the upper park with the lower shopping mall, highlighting the characteristics of Fuzhou’s city symbol. The banyan tree shape is redefined in a simple, light and ultra-modern way, and integrated into the site space shaping.

Scenes and Fun

流光之庭 北侧入口界面
Courtyard of Flowing Light North Entrance Interface

作为场地的第一城市界面，北入口广场承担着形象昭示、人流引导等功能。入口台阶采取章节式设计，通过炫彩灯具、旱喷广场、韵律感波浪造型栏杆及增加立面挑台等设计，营造热闹且沉浸式的商业氛围，将众人从喧闹的城市界面吸引过来。

As the first urban interface of the site, the North entrance square undertakes the functions of image display and flow guidance. The entrance steps are designed in a episodic style, with colorful lamps, dry spray plazas, rhythmic wave balustrades and additional elevations to create a lively and immersive business atmosphere that draws people away from the noisy urban interface.

休憩阶梯平台
The rest terrace

项目主入口处为互动旱喷活动广场，通过活动广场一层可通往商业，二层可通往公园，一层和二层之间高差达8.7 米的高差，因此形成了长约 70 米的台阶休憩空间。设计通过台阶、平台、花镜互相穿插，打造“快速通行+慢游休闲”的双重体验动线。在通道边以榕枝为设计灵感形成大台阶波澜起伏栏杆及艺术构筑灯，这种竖向的趣味性从视觉上引导人们进入公园。大台阶的另一部分阶梯绿化，绿化上由建筑延伸出来一个挑台则以榕荫为设计元素，形成与大台阶和广场的功能和视线互动。它既是一条将客流向上引导的主动线，又是一处充满生机趣味的社交剧场，人们可以在这里欣赏前场的水舞秀或开展艺术展览……

The main entrance features an interactive dry fountain plaza. The plaza’s first level connects to commercial areas, while the second level leads to the park. The 8.7-meter elevation difference between the two levels creates a 70-meter-long staircase-resting space. The design interweaves steps, platforms, and flower beds to establish a dual-experience circulation path combining “rapid transit” with “leisurely exploration.” Along the passageway, the undulating railings and artistically constructed lighting of the grand staircase, inspired by banyan branches, visually guide visitors into the park. Another section of the grand staircase is greened, and a cantilevered platform extending from the building incorporates banyan shade as a design element, creating a functional and visual interaction with the grand staircase and plaza. It serves as both a main route guiding customer flow upwards and a lively and interesting social theatre where people can enjoy the water dance show in the foreground or hold art exhibitions…

趣味采光井
The skylight

从北入口广场拾阶而上，即可抵达公园广场核心区域。设计中在二层设置天窗与洞口，不仅能将自然光引入一层，改善下层空间采光条件，更打破了上下层的视觉隔阂，让上层公园与下层商业空间形成自然的视线交流。其中最大洞口处，我们以榕枝、榕荫为设计灵感，打造出串联一层与二层的艺术大构筑 “浮光森林”，将二层的艺术雕塑向下延伸至一层，同步形成可供休憩的花池座凳；同时在构筑旁配套设置传声筒装置，让市民可通过这一设施实现跨楼层的声音互动，进一步强化了上下空间的连通感与参与感。

Ascending the steps from the North Entrance Plaza leads directly to the core area of the Park Plaza. The design incorporates skylights and openings on the second level, which not only introduce natural light to the first level, improving illumination conditions below, but also break down visual barriers between the levels. This creates a natural visual connection between the upper-level park and the lower-level commercial spaces. At the largest opening, inspired by banyan branches and shade, we created the “Forest of Floating Light”—a large-scale artistic structure linking the first and second floors. This extends the second-floor sculptures downward to the first level while simultaneously forming flowerbed benches for relaxation. Additionally, a sound-transmitting tube installation is positioned beside the structure, enabling citizens to engage in cross-level audio interactions through this feature. This further enhances the sense of connectivity and participation between the upper and lower spaces.

花园餐厅与活动场地
Garden Restaurant and Event Venue

为满足全龄层的活动需求，在场地内将社交、休闲、儿童、运动等功能融入景观空间，有花园餐厅、儿童活动区、潮流滑板区等。

To cater to the activity needs of all age groups, the site integrates social, leisure, children’s, and sports functions into the landscape space, featuring garden restaurants, children’s activity areas, and trendy skateboarding zones.

二层公园里面设置三个餐饮业态的建筑，建筑里有垂直电梯和电扶梯从一层到达二层公园，这三个建筑包裹在公园里，在公园其它地方考量使用范围的基础上也设置了垂直电梯，并且在地铁处也设置了到达二层的电扶梯。

Three food and beverage buildings are situated within the second-level park, each equipped with elevators and escalators connecting to the first-level park. These structures are integrated into the park’s landscape. Additional elevators are provided in other areas of the park based on accessibility requirements, and escalators leading to the second level are also installed at the subway station.

摩登剧场 下沉立体剧场
Modern Theater Sunken Theater

场地核心为一个下沉式的内聚型广场空间，环形的走道空间将人流与视线导入至场地核心区域， 我们希望将此处打造为能量聚合的立体秀场，既释放下沉广场的空间潜力，又强化第五立面的视觉效果。

The core of the site features a sunken, cohesive plaza space. A circular walkway channels foot traffic and sightlines toward the central area, where we envision creating a three-dimensional performance stage that harnesses energy. This design both unleashes the spatial potential of the sunken plaza and enhances the visual impact of the fifth façade.

中心区域设置旱喷广场，保证日常人气同时也满足节假日各类演出活动需求；边界区域设置超12米的LED浮光瀑布、悬空树池及特色廊架等设计，丰富竖向空间，共同打造一个可承载多元化活动需求的核心爆发点。

The central zone features a dry fountain plaza, ensuring daily foot traffic while accommodating diverse holiday performances and events. Perimeter areas incorporate over 12-meter LED light cascades, suspended tree pits, and distinctive pergolas to enrich vertical dimensions. Together, these elements create a dynamic focal point capable of hosting multifaceted activities.

浮光瀑布电梯厅
The elevator hall of Fuguang Waterfall

公园中心设置了观光电梯，从二层公园可直达到负一层下沉剧场，我们运用艺术构架包裹电梯，并设置了LED显示屏幕，配合艺术灯带使其夜景也感受到公园与商业氛围的融合，使其成为整个项目的视觉中心。

A sightseeing elevator is set up in the center of the park, which can directly reach the sunken theater on the basement floor from the second floor of the park. We wrapped the elevator with an artistic framework and installed LED display screens. Combined with artistic light strips, the night view also feels the integration of the park and the commercial atmosphere, making it the visual center of the entire project.

印象闽江 上盖公园入口广场
Impressions of Minjiang: Overhead Park Entrance Plaza

南侧广场与上盖公园相接，直面闽江，兼具优越的景观视野与空间衔接性。在南入口广场打造约16米高的“银河轨迹“，成为江北CBD单体艺术雕塑新坐标，并以阶梯跌水处理边界线、增强入口仪式感，有效区分与上盖公园广场的空间属性，同时，广场联动周边花园餐厅、观光电梯、上盖公园广场，形成大型场景式核心广场，可承载灯光秀、嘉年华等城市级活动，进一步激活公园整体氛围。

The south plaza connects to the rooftop park, facing the Min River directly, offering both exceptional scenic views and spatial continuity. The south entrance plaza features a 16-meter-tall “Galaxy Trajectory” sculpture, establishing a new landmark for single-piece art installations in the Jiangbei CBD. Its stepped cascading water treatment defines boundaries and enhances the ceremonial feel of the entrance, clearly distinguishing its spatial character from the rooftop park plaza. Furthermore, the plaza integrates with surrounding garden restaurants, observation elevators, and the rooftop park plaza to form a large-scale, immersive central plaza. This space can host city-level events such as light shows and carnivals, further energizing the overall atmosphere of the park.

银河轨迹
Galactic trajectory

雕塑形态概念源于福州城的标志“榕树”及古汉语“州”的字体形态寓意“有福之州，生态之城”，展现榕城蓬勃向上的精神，契合闽江北CBD 商务区现代、高效的精神特质。

The sculptural form draws inspiration from Fuzhou’s iconic symbol, the banyan tree, and the typographic form of the ancient Chinese character “zhou” (州), symbolizing “a city blessed with fortune and ecological harmony.” It embodies the vibrant spirit of the Banyan City while aligning with the modern, efficient ethos of the Minjiang North CBD business district.

福州左海·光年park的公园式商业景观，怀揣着为城市塑造生活新范式的期许，致力于实现兼具烟火气与生态感的理想日常。我们渴望这里不只是商业与景观的叠加，更是能让人们重拾生活本真的栖息地 —— 让下班的人能在绿荫下卸下疲惫，让家庭的周末有逛不完的趣味角落，让陌生邻里因一场偶然的广场活动拉近距离，让每一次停留都能遇见温暖的生活片段。在这里，人们既能邂逅潮流商业的鲜活魅力，也能在步步皆景的生态空间里放松身心，更能在开放友善的社交场景中收获联结。我们期待以此构建一种富有温度、充满活力、兼具品质的新型生活方式，让这片景观不仅成为城市的亮眼印记，更能承载起人们对新时代美好生活的向往，兑现一份属于城市与居民的共同憧憬。

Fuzhou Riverside Civic Plaza (including underground parking) envisions a park-like commercial landscape that aspires to shape a new paradigm of urban living, striving to create an ideal daily experience that harmoniously blends vibrant energy with ecological sensibility. We envision this space not merely as a juxtaposition of commerce and scenery, but as a sanctuary where people rediscover life’s essence—where commuters unwind beneath green shade after work, families explore endless weekend discoveries, strangers become neighbors through chance plaza gatherings, and every pause reveals heartwarming moments of everyday life. Here, people can encounter the vibrant allure of trendy commerce, unwind amidst an eco-space where every step reveals a new vista, and forge connections within open, welcoming social settings. We envision this as a warm, vibrant, and quality-driven lifestyle—a landscape that not only becomes an iconic urban landmark but also embodies people’s aspirations for a better life in the new era, fulfilling a shared vision for both the city and its residents.
